Meet The Team

DVM Reed Scudder

DVM Reed Scudder- A graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Reed has had the honor of working for some of the most prestigious hospitals in the country. He has also worked for the "Vets Without Borders" and offered his services to third world animals in need. Reed returned to his Alma Mater for a certificate in "Veterinary Acupuncture". Reed continues to educate himself with current Western medicine as well as alternative treatments to provide the best care for your animal companion's health.  DVM Scudder is always there to provide diagnostic and treatment options that best help clients and their pets!


Shelli was born in Flagstaff, AZ. After moving around to several other states she moved to the Verde Valley in 1995.
She has worked in the vet field for 11 years in the Village of Oak Creek. The whole community is like her family and some stop in to just say "hi" even when they are just passing by. Shelli married her husband Danny in 2001. Her hobbies are mostly taking care of her 4 dogs and of course all the extra furry friends that she keeps for everyone else.


Michelle was born in San Diego, California and she has lived in Arizona for 20 years. Michelle attended Yavapai College & graduated from Penn Foster with a degree in "Veterinary Technology". She has been a licensed Veterinary Technician since 2001. Although she works in private practice, she volunteers her time as a technician in helping spay/neuter dogs as well as cats on the Navajo reservation. Michelle has been married to her husband, Adam, for 23 years and they have one daughter named Genevieve. Her furry children are "Beans", a Chihuahua, "Fancy Day", a Poodle and her two cats "Waldo" and "Freaky Kitty". Michelle enjoys hiking challenging trails, mountains, reading and spending time with her family!


Saara was born and raised in Cornville, AZ. In 1994 Saara moved to Denver, CO and attended a 2 year Veterinary Technician Program at Bel-Rea Institute for Animal Technology. Saara has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1996. Saara lives with her boyfriend in Cornville on the property where she grew up. Her extended family included 20 feral cats,
4 parrots, 1 goat, 6 horses, 4 dogs and her parents who live next door.
Saara's hobbies include horseback riding, camping, quads and enjoying life!


Suzanne was born & raised in the Los Angeles area. She moved to the Verde Valley in 1993, along with her young daughter. She has been working in the Veterinary field on and off for 15 years. She met her husband Mike in Cottonwood and married in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Together.. they have a blended family of 5 children and 5 grandchildren, dogs Cozmo, Pepper, Spirit along with kitties Frank & Roz. Suzanne enjoys helping animals, good food,
hanging out with her family and great friends!


​Brina was born in the Verde Valley in 1999, raised in Cottonwood, AZ and Highlands Ranch, CO. She graduated high school in May 2017. Brina always had a passion for animals. As a child, she would go to vet clinics with her step mom Suzanne and watch and learn from the doctors and technicians. She is currently attending college and plans on becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician in the next 2 years. Her personal hobbies include makeup, hanging out with her 3 dogs and 2 cats, and binge watch TV shows.
